Reliability, durability, safety, 24 month manufacturer’s warranty and full serviceability differentiate the Ezi-action® Drumpumps. You can be confident that Ezi-action® Drumpumps are supplied by a company that believes in giving the customer more than they expect.
Ezi-action® Drumpumps are fully serviceable. This differentiates them from other hand drum pumps on the market. Servicing may never be required. But some chemicals can be harsher on the polyethylene components. Should pumping cease or fluid be visible on the plunger shaft the Ezi-action® Drumpump is easily serviced.
Ezi-action® Drumpump seals are made from LDPE plastic which has excellent chemical resistance and are well proven.
We now offer the V Seal Pack. This pack includes the LDPE seals and a Viton O ring.
The addition of a Viton O ring placed above the LDPE seals on the plunger shaft can be beneficial when the Ezi-action® Drumpump is being used to pump large volumes. It can also be useful when there is an increase in back pressure because the pump is being used to pump fluids against gravity or when the fluids are very viscous.
When dispensing very strong acids (e.g. 83% nitric acid) and crop protection chemicals the addition of a viton O ring improves the longevity and performance of the Ezi-action® Drumpumps.OR-116 Brown Viton O rings can be bought locally or we can supply them with the V Seal Pack.
FDA Approved OR-116 Blue Viton O rings are also NOW available.
In Australia Dasco Ezi-action® Safety Pumps are NOW available with the addition of a FDA approved viton O ring.
In Australia to tolerate the heat extreme of the Cooper Basin ( 50C in the shade) a change to 3 viton Orings by a customer meant that the pumps could be used for dispensing 35% HCL.
The unique safety measure spout uses a bayonet fit to secure the one litre Ezi-action® Safety Measure bottle to the Ezi-action® Drumpump.
It is recommended that drums of chemical be securely sealed when not in use.
It is receommended that the Ezi-action® Drumpump be removed from the drum between uses and the contents securely sealed.
Care must be taken when removing the Ezi-action® Drumpump. Follow instructions on the Header Card provided or check out the installation instructions here.
A customer in New Zealand dispensing an aromatic compound fits a rubber cap over the spout of his Ezi-action® Drumpump to close off the contents and ensure vapours do not leak out.
The range of liquid products being dispensed with Ezi-action® Drummpumps expands all the time.
Ezi-action® Drumpumps will pump the harshest chemicals as well as liquid foods. If it is fluid even if viscous or containing mild solvents it can be pumped. Ezi-action® Drummpumps are made from FDA compliant plastics and will not contaminate your fluids.

Ezi-action® Drumpumps are proven to pump strong acids. They are being used to pump cleaning acids, hydrocholoric acid, battery acid (35% sulphuric acid), formic acid, formalin, peracetic acid, propionic acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid and more.

It is not recommended that the Ezi-action® Drumpump be used in strong solvents, petrol or flammable liquids.
Chemicals containing mild solvents are pumped with Ezi-action® Drumpumps. The concentration of the solvent and the length of time the Drumpump is left in the container will determine whether the Drumpump will continue to pump that product.

There is an Ezi-action® Adaptor Fitting to secure and lock the Ezi-action® Drumpump into every common thread configuration for bulk containers with at least a 42mm opening.
Yes. The Ezi-action® Drumpump will act as a siphon pump. However it will only siphon when a long hose is fitted and providing the source of the fluid is higher in elevation than the receptacle.

Yes. If a long hose is fitted and siphoning is not desired this can be easily managed.
To break the siphon air needs to enter the hose, the hose needs to be crimped and/or the hose needs to be stored higher than the contents of the drum.
When the Ezi-action® Drumpump is not in use removal of the long hose or removal of the Ezi-action® Drumump from the drum will prevent unintentional siphoning.
For extra safety install an Ezi-action® Non-Siphon Check Valve in your hose. This will prevent accidental siphoning as it permits air to enter the hose.

Yes. A parts diagram can be found inside the Header Card or click here.
All Ezi-action® hand pumps incorporate the same patented pumping principle.
They are ingeniously simple, direct, double action, low pressure, high volume pumps.Ezi-action® hand pumps do not use a conventional piston so there are no close fitting mechanical seals to wear.
The Ezi-action® Drumpump and Ezi-action® Marine Pump are manufactured entirely from high quality, chemical resistant, FDA compliant polypropylene and LDPE. Learn more.
The Ezi-action® Shallow Well Pump is manufactured from PVC.
The Ezi-action® Powder Measure is adjustable and allows excess powder to be gently shaken away from the user. It is another excellent marketing tool adding value to powders and promoted to prevent wastage and overuse.
